Statuses defined:

Station status is divided into two parts. Before the dash is the service in which the station operates; after it is the status of the station within that service.

Possible services:

CA:	Class A TV (LPTVs protected from "bumping" by full-power stations)
DM:	Unknown.
DN:	A request to change the DTV table of allocations, tentatively
	denied.
DR:	A request to change the DTV table of allocations.
DS:	Auxiliary (emergency backup) DTV transmitter.
DT:	Digital TV station.  (USA)
NM, NN:	Unknown.
TB:	TV booster.
TS:	Auxiliary (emergency backup) transmitter.
TV:	Full-power TV station.  (USA)
TX:	Low-power TV station or translator.  (USA)
VE:	Canadian station.
XV:	High-powered Mexican station.
XX:	Low-power (or unknown power) Mexican station.
Possible statuses:
A, B, 	Low-power stations in Canada.
LP, VU,
VL, VLP:
APP:	Application. (for new station, or to change technical facilities of
	existing station or permit)  APPDID or APPGID means application for
	new station, denied (or granted) in initial decision.
C, D,	High-power stations in Canada. 
S, R:
CP:	Construction Permit.  (for new station or change in facilities)
CPMOD:	Construction Permit, Modified since first granted.
DIS:	Dismissed.
LIC:	Licensed.  Presumably is on the air, or at least has tested 
	on the air.
STA:	Special Temporary Authorization.  
XE:	Mexican station.
