Data Sources & Limitations:
The TV Database Online is based on several sources. The fundamental data on U.S. stations comes from the FCC's Web site on http://www.fcc.gov/mb/databases/cdbs
Information on Canadian stations is from Industry Canada's site on http://spectrum.ic.gc.ca/infoback/dgse/english/baserade.html
Mexican information is from the Televisa Web site http://www.televisa.com, the SCT's site and information from TV Azteca obtained by Fernando Garcia. (and much appreciated!)
The powers of many Televisa stations are estimates, based on the output powers reported on the Televisa web page for a number of new transmitters purchased by that network.
Programming information was collected from a variety of sources, including my personal observations and DXer reports.
The data was imported into a MySQL database. Custom Perl programs were used to retrieve the data and format it for the Internet. There are gaps and inaccuracies in the data, especially in the network information. If you notice anything wrong here, please let me know so it can be corrected. My email address appears in a graphic image below. Sorry, you can't just click on it to send email - that would make it too easy for the spam scam scum. You'll have to write it down & type it manually. Blame it on those who'd steal my connect time & disk space to market pornography & get-rich-quick schemes.
