You may note that my telephone number doesn't appear anywhere in this site. This is intentional: I am very difficult to reach by telephone. Due to excessive telemarketing, I generally do not answer my phone during the "telemarketing hours" of 9am-9pm. During much of this period, I'm at work & couldn't answer the phone even if I wanted to. And I'm fairly active on the Internet; during much of the time I'm not at work, my phoneline is busy.
I work unusual hours. I am unable to return phone calls during the evening hours when most people are able to accept them. I am generally sleeping (and will be very unhappy if awakened) during the morning hours before 9am Central time. If you call between the hours of midnight and 9am Central - and it isn't an emergency - don't expect to receive a civilized response.
Besides, I communicate much better via written means. Email or postal mail are much preferred. I wish I could provide a "mailto" link on this page, but the spammers have ensured that's a route to a mailbox full of offers of porn. But the address is plainly visible on many of these pages, and you can certainly write it down & use it.
If you feel you must communicate by telephone, call between 9am and midnight central time, and leave a message. (and know that the warning to salesmen doesn't apply to you. It's the result of overly-aggressive automobile dealerships in the Nashville/Clarksville area.) Also, if you're more than 800km/500mi. from Nashville and are reasonably certain you're receiving Nashville FM/TV signals, feel free to call during the 9am-midnight period; if you're more than 1600km/1000mi. away, feel free to call at any time. (but please only if you're certain you're seeing/hearing my locals!)
